On Twitter, Adam James Smith has started an every-Friday #ReadQuixote trend where people read Don Quixote chapter by chapter every week of the year (DQ has 52 chapters).
I picked up Don Quixote at a thrift shop in Philly years ago, not too far from the Don Quixote statue Spain donated to the City of Brotherly Love. My edition of Don Quixote is a 50s, student edition published by Las Americas that was clearly used for a high school Spanish class back in the day. I am reading it concurrently with the free Kindle version in English.
Although I have slacked off in the last couple weeks, it seems like the readers of DQ are still going strong the valiant knight is in the midst of creating his character. Stay tuned for more!
