We never imagine that we are going to have to contend with inclement weather when we travel, but it is a reality that most have to face. So what do you do when the weather arrives on your journey?
Delay or change your plans – This is basically all you can do unless you are able to pursue your original plans in bad weather. If you have time, the best option might be to just wait until the weather is better. If you aren’t flexible, you will need to change your plans and perhaps modify one or more activities that you had planned. A day that was planned for the park, might turn into a museum day. A journey that you thought would take five hours, might take ten. The key is to be prepared for the chance that your travels might not go just exactly as you had planned and enjoy what you get to the best of your ability.
